Last Saturday, June 11th, Agape hosted our Annual Summer Work Day. It was one of Agape’s biggest ever Work Days, with over 40 friends pitching in a hand to help landscape, split and stack wood, and prepare our garden for the summer! In addition to all of the hard work, everyone had a chance to eat a vegan potluck lunch and dinner and get to know each other.
Folks from multiple communities, including the Maple Ridge Bruderhof, Traction Community, Holy Cross College, and Just Faith Springfield, all made the long-distance trip to support the work at Agape and break bread together. The crew accomplished a great amount and worked late into the day. We are so grateful to everyone who helped out and hope to see all of you again soon!
